Autograph letter to Douglas Stewart, editor of “The Bulletin”s Red Page, from Arnold Wall, (1869-1966), longtime Professor of English in Canterbury, New Zealand. The letter (5 Sept. 1959) talks of the difficulties and pleasures of getting “The Bulletin” in New Zealand. Stewart was also a New Zealander. Also a twelve line manuscript poem by Wall, “On Reading a Book of Ribaldry”, with annotations by Stewart and a note for a payment of one guinea. Wall contributed a number of poems to “The Bulletin”
